BBC Radio Recorder Application
SqueakSource3 project pageThis application is a learning exercise. The code base is targeted at the moving target of the BBC web site so any and all features of if are subject to failure. It uses BBC Radio XML and JSON files to provide program data available for listening from the BBC and transcribe them, using an external application, so that they can be played on devices that don't support the standard format. It is currently configured to access Radio1 thru 6Music. It is under active development to add more features. It requires external programs which can run on most major OS, but it is tested only on Mac OSX. Configuration of the user machine requires knowledge of Squeak and the host os.
